PRAYER FOCUS: With the anniversary of 9/11 coming this week, we would like to encourage you to be in prayer for the emergency service providers and first responders in our community, state, and nation. Give thanks to the Lord for these men and women who seek to preserve and save lives in the face of, or aftermath of, accidents, tragedies, and natural disasters. Pray for them to have the grace, strength, and courage to face difficult circumstances and to give hope to those whom they seek to serve. Pray for their families to have peace in their minds and hearts, knowing that their loved one is called to run into the midst of danger in order to help others.
