THIS WEEK’S PRAYER FOCUS: Please be in prayer for all those in our church and our community who tend the land in agricultural endeavors. The farmers, growers, and ranchers of our community are a vital part of our culture and help provide so much in the way of food, jobs, etc. Some were drastically hurt by Hurricane Irma. Pray for the Lord’s blessing on and through them as they seek to be Godly stewards of the land. Pray that He would give them wisdom and endurance to face the various challenges with which they are confronted on a daily basis. Ask the Lord to instill in them a great trust in Him in the face of such challenges, that they may serve Him to the glory of His name.
