THIS WEEK’S PRAYER FOCUS: Pray for the Lord to instill in each of us, in His Church as a whole, and in the world around us an appreciation for the value of human life. Ask Him to forgive us in any ways we have neglected to love and care for those who are created in His image. Our world is ravaged by the realities of life-taking acts such as terrorism, persecution, human trafficking, and abortion. Pray that God would raise up people to stand with and for the victims of such injustices. Ask Him to show each of us ways in which we can participate in valuing, restoring, and celebrating human life. To that end, pray for the Choices Pregnancy Center of Lake Wales in particular. Ask the Lord to raise up women, from our congregation and from the community of Lake Wales, who can serve as Christlike mentors to women who go to Choices seeking hopeful options for themselves and their unborn children.
