PRAYER FOCUS: Please be in prayer for the elders and deacons of the First Presbyterian Church. These men and women have been called of God to serve as the leaders of this congregation. Pray that the Lord would give them wisdom, leadership, courage, and humility. Pray that they would have unity as a group and that the glory of God would be their hearts’ desires. Pray that He would strengthen their marriages, families, and their callings so that they may lead by deed as well as by word. Pray that you as members of this congregation would be humbly submissive to their leadership and that you would be blessed as they are blessed.
