THIS WEEK’S PRAYER FOCUS: Please keep our sister congregations in Florida Presbytery in your prayers, as well as the ministries and work of Florida Presbytery as a whole. We are not a lone church. Rather we have a particular connection and fellowship with other Associate Reformed Presbyterian churches, sharing resources and doing ministry together in the name of Christ Jesus. Ministries such as Camp Joy Florida, the winter youth retreats, and the planting of new churches are all works carried out by the Presbytery. Pray particularly for the Shepherd Road Presbyterian Church (Lakeland) and their new pastor, Rev. Jeff Jacobs, whose call was approved this week by the Presbytery. Pray also for Christ Presbyterian Church (Bradenton) and the Bartow ARP Church who are each searching for senior pastors.
