The Lake Wales Care Center has several key volunteer roles that need to be filled! Thrift store volunteers: do you have a group you’re a part of that would like to do a once a month project? Or do you know a certain person who has a passion for something like books or crafts who might be interested in volunteering 2-3 hours a week? Meals on Wheels: we have a few open routes to fill. Great opportunity for homeschool families or retired folks who like to drive. Takes about 1-2 hours of their time, once a week. Receptionist: great for someone with lots of patience who can handle taking phones calls in a busy lobby. If you are interested call Jolee at 863-676-6678.
