Pray for the Ministry of God’s Word in our church. Pray that the Word of Christ would dwell in us richly; chiefly through its reading and preaching. Ask the Holy Spirit to use His Word to enlighten, convince, and humble us; to draw us to Christ; to conform us to His image; to subdue us to His will; to strengthen us against temptation; and to build us up in grace. Pray for our pastors; that their preaching would be motivated by love for God and God’s people. Finally, pray that we would teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, taking every opportunity to open the Word.
